Publish your book through Signalman

We know you have something to say, and we want to help you say it. We invite you to submit your manuscript to us for consideration. We are especially looking for manuscripts with a compelling story that contributes to the body of knowledge and/or the enjoyment of the reading public. We accept for review all fiction and non-fiction works, but are very much interested in books from U.S. military veterans and those who want to share their experiences, either as a memoir, or fictional account based on true-life experiences. We also like to publish self-help books and other non-fiction materials meant for the improvement of the reader. We also have a number of Christian themed books and we love to work with authors who have a compelling faith-based story to tell. We invite you to look at our title list and see the kind of books that we currently publish and then contact us about submitting your manuscript for consideration. We don't publish works that are scandalous, slanders others, or otherwise infringes on the rights of others or doesn't fit in with our values. That just means we have the right to respectfully reject any manuscript sent to us for publication if we feel it is not a good fit.

We are not a fee publisher, nor a vanity press. We are considered a cost plus publisher. Our desire is to obtain revenue, along with you, through book sales. However, there are expenses in bringing a quality book to market and that is why we have developed these different publishing packages. There are four different packages available which offers you a choice in the way you want us to publish your book.

Full, professional editing: 3.3 cents per word
Scanning hardcopy for conversion to ebook: $59

Change Fees Changes to final manuscript after pdf file created and finalized by the Company (the author will have already had the opportunity to make changes to the final word processing file before this step) but before files are submitted to the printer: $85
Changes to the interior and/or cover after the files have been submitted to the printer: $150

Royalties

The Royalties that you will receive for each copy sold through our distribution channels are as follows:
Paperback: 20% of list price for all sales
eBook: 40% of list price


Here is the minimum list price for paperback books based on page count:
Up to 112 pages: $11.99
113 - 150 pages: $12.99
151 - 200 pages: $13.99
201 - 250 pages: $14.99
251 - 300 pages: $15.99
for every additional 50 pages, add $1 to minimum list price
